Ellington Parents and Students Encouraged to Testify

Mayor Bowser has postponed transmittal of the FY22 budget to the DC Council to April 22, 2021. As a result, the Council’s Committee of the Whole has had to reschedule all of its budget hearings.

Public witnesses (members of the general public) wishing to testify on education matters must visit ChairmanMendelson.com/testify.

NOTE: When registering make sure to select the May 5, 2021 link, and indicate Duke Ellington School of the Arts in the “Organizational Affiliation” field. Register as soon as possible to ensure a spot to testify, space is limited.

The new schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 9:00 AM: All DC Education agencies (DCPS, OSSE, DME, PCSB, SBOE, OSA, Ombudsman, DCSAA)

After 5:00 PM on May 3, you will receive an email from "Committee of the Whole" (no-reply@zoom.us) with further instructions about how to participate on the Zoom platform.
